Gov Namadi Bags Diamond Prize for Excellence Award in Food Security by NIPR

The National Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has conferred on the Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi with a Diamond Prize for Excellence Award in Food Security.

The National President of the NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, during the Investiture held at the Amadu Bello Hall in Dutse on Tuesday, commended the Governor for his outstanding performance which contributed immensely to food security in the state. 

In addition to granting him the State Patron of the NIPR, he said the Governor’s efforts in prioritizing finance, education, and health were also highlighted as crucial factors in achieving food security.

“Governor Namadi’s commitment to food security has earned him the Diamond Prize for Excellence in Food Security.

“The award recognizes his administration’s initiatives in domesticating policies for local government and community development.

“With a focus on ensuring food security for the citizens of Jigawa State. The Governor has promised to continue providing the dividends of democracy to the people of Jigawa”, he stressed. 

Neliaku said Federal Government has also applauded Governor Namadi’s efforts in food security, acknowledging the State’s pivotal role in the country’s quest to attain food security under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He added that with this recognition, Governor Namadi’s administration continues to demonstrate its dedication to improving the lives of Jigawa citizens.

Dr. Neliaku praised the Governor’s representation at the NIPR’s Diamond Anniversary celebration on June 27, 2024, where he was represented by the state Commissioner of Information and Community Development.

Responding Governor Namadi promised to continue to improve the lives of the state’s citizens as contained in his 12 points agenda.
