Gov Namadi seeks support on agricultural revolution

Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi has urged farming communities in the state to support his agricultural revolution agenda and policies for bumper harvest.

The Governor oñ Sunday spoke at a grand reception in honour of the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Honourable Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin in his home town Miga.

Namadi said there is need for farmers to consult extension workers for advice on any problem they discover on their farms to avoid great lost during the season.

He reiterated his commitment to ensure adequate supply of fertilizer and chemicals as well as insecticides for good yield.

 
He added that his government is ready to deliver all necessary modern farming tools to the doorstep of farmers across all the 27 local government area of the state.

He commended the Miga Development Initiative Group for organizing the occasion in honour of their beloved son, Honourable Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin.

The Speaker promised good  relationship between the legislature and executive to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

The occasion was organized by the Miga Development Initiative (MDI).
