A group, Atunluse Asoludero has congratulated Osun state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on the judgement of the Supreme court which affirmed his victory.
Recall, the Supreme Court, on Tuesday, 9 May upheld the election of Adeleke and sealed the governor’s victory over his most formidable rival, Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC, in a keenly contested 16 July 2022 poll.
A statement on Monday by Hon. Omole Olusegun, former PDP Aspirant for Osun State House of Assembly, in the 2023 election described the victory at the apex court as a testament to people’s belief in Adeleke’s government.
“You have proven to the entire Osunlites that you are a capable and reliable governor within the few days in office”.
“We congratulate you and wish you God’s Divine grace and Wisdom to pioneer the Affairs of the state”.
The group also congratulated Honourable Sunday Bisi, the newly elected Chairman of the PDP party in the just concluded Congress in the state.
“Your emergence is a result of your steadfastness and loyalty to the party, you led us out of the pit we found ourselves and brought us to the promise land.
“We know you are a unifier, who will do anything to keep our party united” the statement added.
