(SINL NIGERIA) A member of the House of Representatives, representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in Zamfara State, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu, has refuted allegation that the State Government would not allow him to flag off empowerment program schedule on Saturday in Bungudu.

Hon. Bungudu has arranged to flag off business support for 3,290 women across his Constituency on Saturday, 15th February, 2025.

The Federal lawmaker stated that Governor Dauda Lawal as an experienced politician and a visionary leader, doesn’t subscribe to anything that can hinder development and empowerment of the people.

He stressed that the occasion is for societal development and  empowerment of the citizens of the State, saying that the issue of politics does not arise.

Hon. Bungudu pointed out that  Governor Lawal embraces his, (lawmaker’s ), development initiatives, recalling a time Governor Lawal called him and commended him for his development initiatives.

“The Dauda Lawal I know is not a kind of person that can be used for political witch hunting or for political aggrandizement.

“So, we are not bringing anything harmful, neither something that is contrary to the law. By God’s grace tomorrow’s occasion is certainly going to hold”

He described the speculation of stopping the program as a political undertone by some enemies of progress.

He urged people to always pray for leaders, saying, doing so brings  progress and development.
