Comrade Abubakar until his death was the correspondent of the Sun Newspaper in Jigawa state, died on August 10, 2021.

“I am emotionally touched by the crowd of Journalists here, who have come to say thank you on what we feel is our responsibility” Namadi said.

He prayed for the family of the late Abubakar.

Meanwhile, the state chairman of the correspondents’ chapel, Comrade Mohammed Zangina commended the Governor for his magnanimity.

“You made the promise and in less than a year you fulfilled it. You have purchased the house occupied by our late colleague, which the family was renting to date.

“What you have done is a reference point for other leaders in the country to emulate.

“And what you have done is not only for the family of our late colleague, but for the entire Journalists in the country,” Zangina said.
