(SINL NIGERIA) Jigawa State Ministry for Local Governments and Community Development has made a significant contribution to the state’s healthcare system by donating medicine and hospital beds worth N215 million to all health facilities across the 27 Local Government Areas.
According to Commissioner for local government and community development, Ahmed Garba, this generous donation is expected to greatly benefit the local governments’ healthcare system, particularly in hard-to-reach rural areas where access to quality medical care is limited.
The donation includes both consumable and non-consumable items, ensuring that healthcare facilities in the LGAs are well-equipped to provide effective treatment to patients.
This initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to improve healthcare services and ensure that citizens have access to quality medical care.
Also speaking, Technical Adviser to Governor Namadi, Isah Surajo, emphasized the significance of the donation, stating that it will enhance the state’s healthcare system and have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the people of Jigawa State.
“The N215 million donation is a testament to the Jigawa State Government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens by providing essential medical supplies and equipment.
“This initiative demonstrates the government’s dedication to ensuring that healthcare facilities in the state are well-equipped to provide quality medical care”.
