Jigawa Police Parade nine Suspected criminals

The Jigawa state police command on Wednesday paraded criminals suspected to be kidnappers, armed robbers and drug dealers.

Briefing newsmen, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Emmanuel Ekot Effiom said the suspects were arrested in different locations through surveillance by the police across the state.

The exhibits recovered from the suspects include one AK49 riffle, one magazine, three cut-to-size locally made Guns, a Motor vehicle Honda civic, ten and a half bags of Indian Hemp, and one brand new Kasea motorcycle.

According to CP Effiom some of the suspects were among the Kidnappers terrorizing Taura, Kaugama, Ringim, and some parts of Kano state.

The Commissioner used the occasion to call on the entire people of the state to continue to partner with the Command to fight the crimes.

He that the state command will not rest on its oars to protect the lives and properties of people in Jigawa state.
