Jigawa State First Lady honoured in a Royal Reception by Saudi King

In a remarkable display of International Diplomacy and Cultural exchange, Jigawa State first Lady, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi has been honoured by King Salman bn Abduladiz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

This was contained in a statement issued to SINL Nigeria Online on Saturday by the Special Assistant on Media Affairs to Governor Umar Namadi, Hajiya Zainab Rabo Ringim.

According to her Hajiya Umar Namadi was given a special invitation along other recognized dignitaries from 90 countries across the world by the authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Makkah Tulmukharama.

“In the invitation it was stated that the first Lady was honoured in recognition of her several contributions to the society and empowerment she used to give to the women across the state.

“The reception was organized in honoured of people who have singled out themselves for service to humanity and assistance to the less privileged in the society after the 2024 Hajj exercise.

“Hadiza Namadi was warmly received by His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia,” the statement said.

The statement explained that Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi’s services to humanity had attracted international attention due to her husband’s numerous actions programme that had elevated the life of ordinary folk in the state.

The statement explained that “being a guest of Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia, is a significant honour and privilege. 

“While appreciating the gesture, Hadiza Namadi thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Custodian of the two Holy mosques.

“The Hajj 2024 Royal treat highlights the growing diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, fostering greater cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations,” the statement added.
