The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, has graduated 97 personnel who completed their training on Wednesday.
The Commandant of NSCDC, Alhaji Musa Mala, said the graduates had completed their first three months training at the state command headquarters Dutse.
He explained that they will proceed to one of its training colleges for another three months training before their deployment to various commands.
According to him the personnel were those recruited in 2019, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, could not go for the training.
The commandant noted that 5,000 Nigerians were recruited nationwide in 2019 to be trained as full personnel of the corps.
He added that It was a great pleasure witnessing the passing out ceremony of the 97 personnel that have undergone three months basic training exercise.
“Their absorption into the workforce of the corps will greatly enhance its performance in providing security of lives and property of the general public”, he concluded.
