Pahayi community leader hails Senator Adeola for providing infrastructural development

The community leader of Pahayi land, a major suburb in Ilaro-Yewa, Yewa South LGA, Ogun State, Chief Emmanuel Olabisi Ekunola JP, has applauded Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) for his massive contributions to human and infrastructural development of his homestead over the year.

The Baale gave the commendation at the first Pahayi Day Celebration held in the town’s market square, a statement on Thursday signed by

Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator Adeola said.

According to the Baale the main motive of hosting the program is to “celebrate our place of birth, to bring ourselves together after all the round the year work in our different places of works and also to raise some funds for developmental projects in our land.” 

Specifically, the community leader of Pahayi while commending Senator Adeola for completed road construction in the community, empowerment of sons and daughters as well as ongoing construction of a Police Station among other multi- million naira projects said “it will be act of ingratitude if on behalf of all of us in Pahayi land I fail to appreciate and acknowledge the great impact of our illustrations Son, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola,  Yayi to his father’s land, Pahayi.”

He added “Senator Adeola Yayi has successfully provided Solar lights to all the nooks and crannies of Pahayi land, the completion of asphalt road from Ijado junction to Orita Pahayi which has tremendously changed the economic and social well being of all of us in this part of Yewaland. We are indeed very grateful.”

He also commended Yayi for the ongoing construction of the multi million maternity centre in Pahayi, the first of its kind in Yewa South Local Government for the use of indigenes beyond Pahayi.

The Baale also used the occasion to appreciate the impact and support of the Chairman and Chief Executive of IBD Foundation, High Chief Ibraheem Dende Egungbohun in Pahayi land who has tremendously supported development of the community.
