As part of the Zamfara State Government arrangements for a one-day official visit of President Muhammad Buhari, schedule for tomorrow Thursday, all motor parks would be shut for three hours.
The State Commissioner of information and Chairman, Publicity Sub Committee on the Presidential visit, Ibrahim Dosara made this known in a statement on Wednesday in Gusau.
He said that state government has made adequate arrangement to receive the August visitor, adding that, Security agencies have mapped out necessary security measure to ensure a hitch free event.
The statement warned people against carrying any weapons, including matches, knives and sticks or any embarrassing banners.
“Wrong parking of vehicles are also not allowed, as Federal Road Safety Commission’s operative are directed to tow away all violating vehicles for prosecution”.
It added that, Gusau being the state capital will be closed to motorists for three hours as the visit lasted, adding that, all motor parks in Gusau will also be close.
President Muhammad Buhari is set to visit Zamfara State on Thursday to condole the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas of the state.
Governor Bello Matawalle dropped the hint during an emergency meeting with all political office holders at the Government House Council Chamber in Gusau.
According to him, the purpose of the visit was to commiserate and condole with his administration over the recent terrorist attacks in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas where some people were killed in the areas.
“All is set to ensure the President is received on that day.
“I want to inform all the good people of Zamfara State that the Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will come to Zamfara on Thursday, specifically for a condolence visit over the recent banditry in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas of the state.
