Ahead of Nigeria’s preparation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic, Super Eagles camp will open on Monday, next week.
According to officials of the team, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has started making arrangements for the players’ arrival on Sunday at the team’s Eko Hotels camp.
The Super Eagles will host the Les Fauves of Central African Republic on October 10 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
According to Super Eagles’ Media Officer, Femi Raji, plans were ongoing to ensure Nigeria maintains its winning streak in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying series, which started with a 2-0 defeat of Liberia in Lagos and a 2-1 victory over Cape Verde in Mindelo.
He said “The Eagles camp will open next week on October 4 or 5 in Lagos with serious training set to start on October 5.
“The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the coaches are in touch with the players, who will start leaving their clubs immediately after this weekend’s matches in Europe.”
After the game against CAR on October 10, the team will leave for Cameroun for the reverse fixture billed to hold at the Stade De Japoma, Douala, three days later.
