Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District Alhaji Lawal Hassan Dan’i ya has lunched the distribution of 12,800 bags of rice in his constituency.
At the Flag off the distribution on Wednesday, Senator Daniya who was represented by the State APC Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Hassan Marafa Damri said beneficiaries of the gesture include party officials, youth and women organizations, traditional and religious leaders as well as the vulnerable and the needy.
He charged chairmen of the six local government areas of the zone to handle the exercise with utmost honesty.
In their seperate remarks, Zamfara State APC women Leader, Hajiya Ai Maradun and Malam Shu’aibu Isah Talata Mafara, commended Senator Lawal Dan’iya for providing the gesture which they described as timely and worthy of emulation by other politicians.
Also speaking at the occasion were Alhaji Suleiman Tunau Anka, Zamfara West Woman leader of the APC, Hajiya Zali Bakura appreciated the effort of the Senator, stressing that this would compliment government effort.
