Honourable AbdulKadi Jelani Danbuga, a member of House of Representatives, representing Isa-Sabon federal constituency of Sokoto state is dead.

Danbuga, who was elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), reportedly died in Abuja on Tuesday evening after battling with sickness for some time.

A chieftain of the APC in the state who spoke with PUNCH on the condition of anonymity said his remains would arrive in Sokoto today (Wednesday for proper burial in accordance with Islamic rights.
