Senator representing Plateau South senatorial zone, Sen. Nora Daduut has distributed agricultural equipments and SDG special intervention items to over 600 constituents in Plateau South.
She noted that the agricultural equipments and SDG special intervention items will add value to the livelihood of the people and Communities if the items and equipments are used judiciously.
Sen. Nora who made the distribution on Saturday at the Lowland Hotel Shendam, acknowledged that she cannot meet all the yearnings of all her constituents but will do her best to reach as many as she can within the short period of her tenure.
“I am proud to state that I have enjoyed tremendous support from Plateau South Senatorial district and this has inspired me to work harder for better representation of our people.
“I wish to also use this opportunity to appreciate the federal government of Nigeria under the administration of his excellency president Muhammadu Buhari.
“The agricultural equipments include 16 mini tractors, 442 automatic sprayers while the SDG special intervention include 14 grinding machine, 2 water pumps, 13 sewing machines, 17 motorcycles and 5 tricycles”.
Sen. Nora urged the beneficiaries to put the items given to them into proper usage in order to better their lives.
“I am hopeful that my contribution would go a long way in supporting the administration of his excellency Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong in the execution of his 5-point agenda for the state”.
The first lady of Plateau State, Regina Bako Lalong represented by Commissioner for Women Affairs, Rebecca Sambo applauded Sen. Nora for such empowerment.
“I urged you all to make use of the intervention judiciously so as to improve our agricultural sector as well as eradicate poverty”.
The Chairman Quanpan Local Government Area, Ernest Daar appreciated Sen. Nora for her efforts to improve agriculture, fight poverty and share prosperity.
