The Jigawa state chairman of the All Progressive Congress ( APC), Aminu Sani has warned party members and the youths across the 27 Local Government Areas of the state to shun the planned nationwide protest.
According to Sani any nationwide protest that has no leader is dangerous to the nation.
The chairman, who spoke to SINL Nigeria Online correspondent in Dutse said the planned protest has hidden motives that can throw the entire country into anarchy.
“Any meaningful and purposeful protest is part of the constitutional right of the citizens and democracy, but it must have organizers that would be held responsible.
“APC believe in democratic process in resolving any disagreement or national challenges for sustainable peace and progress but not through violent means.
“The nature of the proposed demonstration appears to be very fragile and vulnerable to be hijack by agent of destruction and criminal minded people who don’t mean well for the nation,” he
He therefore urged every good citizen of the state to kick against the planned protest to avoid miscreants to take advantage of it.
