The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday lifted the Unity Cup after defeating Jamaica 5-4 on penalties.
Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze scored for Nigeria in each half, as the match ended in a 2–2 draw before proceeding to a penalty shootout.
The Super Eagles scored all five spot kicks to ensure victory in the game played at Brentford Community Stadium in London.
This year’s tournament featured four teams, including Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.
The match was organized to foster unity and pride among the African and Caribbean diasporas in London.
This year’s event marked the return of the tournament after its last occurrence in 2004.
