Three homosexuals nabbed in Gwandara Community in Nasarawa

Three members of a notorious gang of homosexuals have been arrested in Gwandara, Nasarawa state, while the alleged  leader of the gang, Rasak Ayobami Omotuyi popularly known as “Rasak” has been declared wanted.

Idris Yakubu, Abayomi Adekunle and Mumuni Gana were apprehended by elders of Gwandara community and have been handed over to the police in Masaka.

According to Alhaji Ayuba Sani, one of the community leaders, these were fond of flaunting their abnormal sexual status in the area which he stressed “could influence innocent youths in our community”.

Sani urged anyone with useful information  that could lead to the arrest of Rasak Ayobami Omotuyi to contact the police or leaders of Gwandara community.

Sani further stressed that homosexuality is generally viewed as unacceptable in Nigeria and same sex marriage prohibition act prescribes lengthy prison sentences for those engaging in such”.
