Tinubu donates N50 million to flood victims in Jigawa

The All Progress Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has donated N50 million to those affected by flood recently in Jigawa state.

Tinubu announced the donation during his sympathy visit to the state on Tuesday.

He stressed that he was in the state to commiserate with the government, people as well as victims who lost their belongings.

Tinubu, who spoke at the government house Dutse, said “the flood disaster is an act of God Almighty. This token is just to relief the victims not to compensate them”.

According to him as brothers and sisters of one nation, he found it necessary to come personally to commiserate with them and show concern to the victims.

“I admonish you all to submit everything to God Almighty. And I pray for God Almighty to intervene and prevent the future occurrence of anything like this”, Tinubu added.

Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar thanked the presidential candidate for the visit and magnanimous donation to the victims.
