Youth Group accuses Ex- President Obasanjo of allegedly jeopardizing Nigeria’s future

A group, the National Youth Congress for Better Nigeria (NYCBN) has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo of allegedly jeopardizing the future of Nigeria.


This was contained in a statement signed by the National president of the NYCBN Comrade Ali Wali and made  available to news men in Dutse on Thursday.


Comrade Wali also alleged that the sixteen years of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was a disaster to the country, adding that Nigerians are reaping what PDP sowed during their tenure.

He said “this country has never been subjected to much damages than the sixteen years PDP held power, out of which former president Olusegun Obasanjo led for eight years”.

The statement alleged that Obasanjo is part of enemies of Nigeria’s development, also recalled that, the former President was accused of corruption by former Abia state governor, Orji Kalu in a petition to the EFCC.

“In another allegation, Obasanjo was also accused of misuse of public funds to pursue his third term agenda and allegation that he spent N300 billion on construction and maitainance of Nigerian roads” the statement said. 

According to Comrade Wali, it is high time for Nigerians to wake up and stop falling into traps of destructions set-up by people like former president, Obasanjo.
