Zamfara bye election: APC alleges planned foul play by ruling PDP

A head of Bakura state constituency bye election in zamfara state, the All Progressive Congress, (APC) has cried over alleged planned foul play by Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) led administration and its agents in the state.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday at the party headquarters in Gusau, chairman of APC, Alhaji lawal M. Liman kaura alleged that the ruling PDP administration has hired someone political thugs to distablize the election.

Liman Kaura alerted the security agencies in the state that some thugs were brought into the state but later transported to Funtua town in katsina state.

“Our party is aware on the planned thuggery during the by election, thugs may be transported back to the state during the period to be use by the PDP administration in the state”.

He maintained that APC members are law abiding and are prepared for the bye election.

“I called on our teeming supporters to remain law abiding, resolute and to obey all election protocols, we are very much prepared for the bye election of Bakura House of Assembly”.

Meanwhile, some APC Governor’s and supporters from the National headquarters led by Jigawa state Governor, Badaru Abubakar are expected on Thursday to attend the final campaign rally in Bakura local government of zamfara state.
