(SINL NIGERIA) The Chairman, Zamfara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare has commended the nine chapels of the Council for their cooperation and support.
In a statement, he personally issued to newsmen in the State, Comrade Maizare stated that, he engaged all the chapels for a meaningful development of the Council, especially on the Union dues.
“I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation on behalf of SWC for the support you provided the union during our recent visits to all our chapels. Your dedication has been invaluable in helping us engage with our members effectively”, he said.
“During these visits, we took the opportunity to discuss important issues related to the union, particularly concerning union dues and other vital matters. We listened to the concerns raised by our members, which allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of their problems”
“We encourage our members to always refer to the constitution as their guiding document, as it plays a critical role in addressing many of the challenges we face”
I would like to emphasize the importance of respecting the profession and maintaining integrity as journalists. It is our responsibility to uphold these values in our work and interactions”
“I assure you that we will continue these visits, as they are essential for fostering communication and understanding within our self”
