(SINL NIGERIA) The Zamfara state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nafisa Muhammed Maradun has flagged off the distribution of fortified milk to all health facilities across the State.
The Commissioner emphasised the importance of the milk, which is enriched with essential nutrients to combat malnutrition and improve child health.
However, she issued a stern warning that anyone found tampering with the fortified milk will face the full wrath of the law.
“This milk is intended for our children, and we will not tolerate any actions that could jeopardise their health.”Dr Maradun warned.
Dr. Maradun also made it clear that the fortified milk is not for sale, also warning that health workers and security personnel are prohibited from selling this milk.

Dr Maradun said that she was committed to ensuring that all children have access to the nutrients they need to thrive.
At the occasion, the Executive Secretary, Zamfara State Primary Healthcare Board, Dr. Hussaini Yakubu, thanked the Commissioner for her meaningful initiatives, aimed at promoting healthcare delivery services in the state.
He pledged to contribute immensely to the six GBpoint gender of the Commissioner in order to achieve the desired goals.
