In a bid to block all financial leakages, the Zamfara state government has organized sensitization workshop for government officials on internally generated revenue and treasury single accounts.
Declaring the workshop open on Tuesday at the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) training center, in Gusau, Secretary to the State government (SSG) Bala Bello Maru said the sensitization workshop would also assist in flushing out ghost workers in the State.
He disclosed that the stakeholders meeting on Treasury Single Account (TSA), Internal Generated Revenue (IGR), Decentralization of Salary and Public Procurement guidelines would further strengthen government commitments to develop the State.
The stakeholders meeting includes all the state Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries and Directors General.
Others include the Heads of Extra-Ministerial Departments and Agencies (MDAs) as well as all the Directors of Administration and Finance in the State.
