The Zamfara State Taskforce committee on banditry activities has arrested suspected suppliers of Bread, Petrol to bandits in the State.
Parading the suspects on Wednesday evening in Gusau, the State Taskforce chairman, Abubakar Mohammed Dauran said the petrol filling station who supplied the product and the bakery company would be close down immediately.
He said the suspects were arrested after credible information about their activities were uncovered.
Motorcycle loaded with bread, three jericans of petrol, gallons and generator used to buy the fuel were apprehended.
“We have been in close mark, trailing the suspects for sometimes and we are able to track and arrest them”.
Dauran maintained that the bread supplier was caught while conveying the said bread with fake letter of permit, dated October 11, 2021.
“We are going to close down the filling station that supplied the petrol product to the suspects and also the bakery company that produced the bread to bandits in the State “.
He called on the security agencies to intensify raid against those aiding and abetting banditry in the state.
