The principal of Premiere Academy Abuja, Mr Chris Akinsowon has ordered the medical department of the school to double it’s efforts at conducting thorough medical checks before allowing students back into the hostels.

The principal gave the instruction during the end of the week routine checks of facilities in the school.

He said “any student that exit the school premises, even for one day, must be thoroughly examined before being readmitted into the hostels”.

Mr Akinsowon told the school’s matron to adhere strictly to the instruction and to always promptly inform him whenever there is a need to update any of the medical facilities.

He said the measure was to ensure the well-being of the students in general and to forestall future embarrassment to the school authority.
