Briefing newsmen shortly after the passage, the Ondo lawmaker said “everybody in the state is happy, right from the town where the university will be sited, so all of us are happy”.

“It is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in the eyes of all of us, most especially the people from Ikare Akoko, the people from Akoko and the people from Ondo North Senatorial District.

“The Ondo State people will be happy to see that the bill passed through today”.

He added “I strongly believe that not much lobby will come up because the President is already positioning the nation towards proper alignment in the area of education.
