Alleged Corrupt Leadership: NATCOM Warns Public Against Former DG

National leadership of the National  Commission for the Coordination and Control of Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons, NATCOM, has warned the general public against dealing with the former acting director general of NATCOM, Baba Mohammed describing him as a greedy, selfish and self centered man that cannot lead people.

The group warned Nigerians especially the unsuspecting members of the public against dealing with the self styled director general.

In a statement of disclaimer personally signed by the Acting Director General of NATCOM,Otunba Dr. Adejare Rewane Adegbenro which was made available to journalists in Abuja yesterday, said Mohammed  removal was anchored on the vote of no confident passed on him by the council of state Dorector’s/Commandants of NATCOM on 3rd June, 2023 where the incumbent Acting Director General of NATCOM was elected as the Director General/Executive Chairman.

NATCOM leadership, according  to the statement  also accused Mohammed of fraud and incompetency  to lead the intervention agency.

 Dr. Adegbenro according to the statement is currently undergoing serious reformation  and clensing owing to defects of a  two and half years mal- administration of  Mohammed.

He further warned  the general public against dealing with  Mohammed saying, anybody who does so is at his or her own risk.

Consequently, the leadership of NATCOM also warned unsuspecting job seekers to shun Baba Mohammed and his fake letters of appointment as anybody found wanting shall face the wrath of the law.
