Former governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Senator Kabiru Marafa and Senator Sahabi Ya’u have won APC Senatorial ticket, in a primarily election held in the three Senatorial Zones of the state.
The election which was held peacefully was witnessed by Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle alongside party officials from APC National Headquarters and the state executives.
The election was also witnessed by the officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies,
The trio emerged unopposed.
Yari (Zamfara west), Marafa (Zamfara central) and Sahabi (Zamfara north).
