Amid all the coronavirus panic, actor Daniel Radcliffe has found himself diagnosed with the virus by fans on Twitter.

Earlier this week, a fake Twitter account spread false claims that the Harry Potter star tested positive for the coronavirus.

But the 30-year-old’s publicist vehemently denied the claim, BuzzFeed News reports.

“Not true,” the representative told the publication.

In a now-deleted tweet, the fake account tweeted, “BREAKING: Daniel Radcliffe tests positive for coronavirus. The actor is said to be the first famous person to be publicly confirmed.”

The account has since been suspended and removed from Twitter for violating rules and guidelines, according to E! News.

Although the page had only 125 followers, the tweet was shared more than 760 times and had reached more than 1 000 likes before it was removed.
