Incorporated Board of Trustees of Igala Community Development Association (ICDA) has commended the Kogi State government on peaceful appointment of the Attah Igala and appeals for a timely presentation of staff of office.

This was contained in a communique signed by the chairman of Board of Trustees of Igala Apex Sociocultural Organisation, Dr Omakoji Simeon Oyiguh at the end of one day meeting held at the weekend in Lokoja, the state capital.

The communique however expressed worry over the worsening insecurity in Igala land, especially with the  widespread of kidnapping and murder cases but remained optimistic that when the Paramount ruler, the Attah  of Igala is equipped with instruments of power, he would complement government’s effort in combating insecurity in the state.

The communique also resolved that all Igala sons and daughters should take interest in the security and well-being of  Igala land and Kogi State as it awaits  Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to deploy his usual dexterity in security matters to contain the situation in Kogi East

It added that the Incorporated BOT will have another physical meeting soonest to take further steps to wind down the ICDA activities for His Royal Majesty, the Attah Igala to commence neccesary actions; to reposition it to a more purposeful, responsive, rancour free and all-embracing organisation in the best interest of the entire Igala nation.

The Incorporated BOT members in attendance at the meeting include Dr Omakoji Simeon Oyiguh, Professor Armstrong Idachaba, Hon David Ina Ogu and Hon Sunday Alikali, with Mr Thompson Makolo in its  entorage to HRM, Attah Igala.
