Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN has donated ten trucks of assorted food stuffs to over five thousand Indigents households in Kebbi State.
The gesture was part of Malami’s desire to improve the living condition of the Nigerian masses in line with the objectives of President Muhammadu Buhari’s public oriented administration.
He said the donation will serve as palliatives against hardship occasioned by the novel Coronavirus pandemic adding that it would assist less privileged members of the society especially in this period of Ramadan fast.
This is contained in a statement from the publicity secretary of Khadimiyya Initiave for Justice and Development, Ibrahim Abubakar Jombali that handled the distribution of the donations in Kebbi.
He said the items donated by Malami included 2,600 bags of rice, 1,000 bags of Sugar, 300 cartons of Spaghetti, 1,000 bags of Millet, and 1000 jeerycane of vegetables oil.
He said Malami directed that priority should be accorded to the orphans, disabled, widows, and the less privileged.
“The Honourable Minister’s benevolence also covers religious leaders and most vulnerable in the society amongst the five thousand households”.
In his massage, the Attorney General of the Federation called on Muslim faithfuls in the state to use the blessed month of Ramadan to pray for the end of this pandemic, peaceful cooexistance and ease from the current challenges.
