High Chief (Barr) Emeka Nwala on Thursday took his door-to-door meet-the-aide outreach exercise to the next level.
According to him, there was need to preach the message of restoration of welfare of aides which had reportedly been compromised by the players in the last two Assemblies.
He pledged to give Naslaf a new direction, given the opportunity to lead it to an enviable place better than the 6th Assembly Naslaf.
Barr Nwala advised his colleagues to shine their eyes and reject overtures that will maintain the status quo of 8th assembly Naslaf, through taking a new direction.
“It’s important to follow who knows the way to the right contacts, who has the capacity to get for aides what is theirs and not for themselves alone and above all, the aide with the interest of the entire aides at heart.
“Interestingly, aides who only expressed disgust and hopelessness in the goings-on started drawing inspiration from the message of restoration” Nwala said.
According to Nwala, Naslaf should not be what it is today if key players in the 7th and 8th assemblies had improved on his achievements as Vice Chairman in the 6th assembly.
He added that responses are inspiring and would yield results soonest.
