A non governmental organization in Zamfara State, Wamban Shinkafi in partnership with JACK Rich foundation has distributed food items to about one thousand poor and vulnerable families in shinkafi local government area of the State.
Distributing the food items on Sunday in shinkafi town, the representative of Jack Rich foundation, Murtala Mohammed Gamji said the gesture was to assist needy people particularly with food items.
According to him, the foundation, JACK Rich National food and agricultural technology has packaged food items to support poor families and those ravaged by banditry activities across shinkafi local government area of Zamfara state.
He said the foundation would be assisting the State in the area of distribution of foods, construction of bridges and culverts and drugs to poor and less privileged persons.
In his addressed, the wamban shinkafi, Dr sani Abdullahi said the items distributed came at a better time to the people when more assistance is needed.
Dr Shinkafi assured that as true son of the soil, his foundation would continue to bring more gesture to the people of Shinkafi and Zamfara at large.
Food items distributed includes over four hundred bags of rice, hundreds cartons of indomie Noddles and over one hundred and fifty gallons of red oil “.
